Duties & Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow-related issues efficiently and accurately
Recommend system improvements and upgrades to enhance performance and energy efficiency
Lead or assist with light commercial and residential equipment installations when needed
Provide guidance, support, and on-the-job training to junior technicians and apprentices
Communicate professionally with customers, clearly explaining findings and service options
Complete all service documentation accurately in company software
Participate in rotating on-call schedule for emergency service coverage
Requirements
Current West Virginia HVAC Technician License required
5+ years of proven HVAC service experience (residential and/or light commercial)
EPA Universal Certification required
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
Leadership or mentoring experience strongly preferred
